Resource methodology
Why a link appears, how often we check it, and what inclusion does not mean.
Selection
We favor primary sources, official project documentation, government and regulator pages, transparent research methods, and tools with a narrow, understandable purpose. A resource must help a beginner verify, learn, or complete a task.
Verification
We check the destination domain, page purpose, ownership signals, HTTPS, obvious redirects, and whether the description still matches the page. High-risk download and wallet links receive extra scrutiny. Last-checked dates are displayed on every entry.
Official labels
“Official source” means the resource is published by the responsible project, protocol foundation, provider, government, or regulator. It does not mean Crypto Academy guarantees the organization or its products.
Ranking and commercial relationships
Directory order is based on category and usefulness, never payment. Sponsored resources must be visually separated and cannot receive an official-source label merely because they advertise.
Reports
A broken, redirected, misleading, or compromised resource should be reported through the corrections page. We preserve the report, re-check the destination, and remove unsafe links promptly.
